Antonio Serrat second and Uxio Abuin third in the European Cup in Madrid

Iván Raña Ironman triathlete has shown his class finishing in 6th position and running barefoot through the streets of Madrid.

After the celebration of the women's event where Lucy Hall has mastered the test from beginning to end and where Anna Godoy has achieved a magnificent seventh place, the men's category has taken over

They stood out in the test Ivan Raña, Uxio Abuin winner of last year, Antonio Serrat among the 21 Spaniards who took the exit.

The first to emerge from the water were Jonas Breinlinger and Spaniard Kevin Viñuela, closely followed by Iván Raña and Uxio Abuin. Once on the bike, a group was formed in the lead where there were 4 Spanish, Raña, Abuin, Serrat and Kevin Viñuela. The group of 9 knew how to manage the advantage reaching T2 with a few seconds difference over the chasing group, where Iván Raña started first in the 10 km foot race sector with bare feet.

In the first round the Norwegian Kristian Blummenflet  and Antonio Serrat took the lead, closely followed by a group of 4 including Iván Raña and Uxio Abuin. The Norwegian increased the race pace, leaving alone to the finish line where he achieved victory with a final time of 1:53:50, in second place he entered the Antonio Serrat  (1: 54: 23) followed by the third classified Uxio Abuin (1: 54: 54)

Ivan Raña, triathlete ironman, finished in a great 5º square surprising everyone running the 10 km of the barefoot race segment, demonstrating its great quality.
