Tenesse will host the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship in 2017

The franchise has announced that the city of Chattanooga is the headquarters of this championship

The 9 of September of 2017 has been the date chosen for the dispute of the IRONMAN World Championship 70.3 where we can see the best triathletes of the specialty. The World Championship will return to the United States after leaving for the first time to Europe and Australia.

IRONMAN expects about 185.000 triathletes to compete for qualification in the 100 races at distance 70.3 to be held in 2017 and where 4.000 athletes will compete in the World Championship.

This year Jan Frodeno got the victory in the World championship where Javier Gómez Noya finished in third position.

In 2016,  Mooloolaba, Queensland (Australia) will host the World Championship on September 4
