The last kilometer of the Rotterdam Grand Final, the most exciting of the year

The world title was decided in the last kilometer, where in the end Mario Mola finished third and got his second World Championship

The world title was at stake in the Grand Final race in #WTSRotterdam. After no groups were formed after the swim and the cycling sector everything was going to be decided in the 10 km of foot race

A group with Mario Mola (ESP), Javier Gómez Noya (ESP), Kristian Blummenfelt (NOR), Vincent Luis (FRA) and Jonathan Brownlee (GBR) left together at the beginning of the sector, none of them gave up the battle and they went together until the last kilometer where lovers of this sport could see one of the most exciting moments of the season, where the Champion was to be decided of the world.

In the final sprint, Vicent Luis was the fastest getting the victory, while Blummenfelt entered second position only a few seconds later. The bronze went to Mario Mola, who got his second world title
