1.000 triathletes will participate in the IRONMAN Vitoria

The countdown is already underway to celebrate the second edition of the HOMBRE DE HIERRO Vitoria-Gasteiz this coming September 12, 2021.

The IRONMAN Vitoria Gasteiz is the IRONMAN 2021 Spanish tour first stop, a test that has been a challenge for the entire organizational team.

The second edition of the test will feature 1.000 participants from 51 different countries, of which 88% are men and about 12% are women.

More than 1.050 people between the organization and volunteers are going to work these days so that everything goes perfectly and the athletes can enjoy an unbeatable experience.

The athletes will start at Lake Ullibarri-Gamboa to swim 3.8 kilometers, and from there climb to the bike to finish 180 kilometers that will take them to the Salburua Park where the running race will take place. This is the main change of the event, a change that is marked by the COVID-19 regulations.

The sector running race will consist of four laps to the beautiful Salburua park before crossing the finish line located in the area of ​​the Fernando Buesa Arena pavilion, which will be prepared to be an unforgettable moment for the public and athletes.
