More of 1.650 enrolled in the IRONMAN of Lanzarote

There are already many triathletes who have confirmed their participation in the hardest IRONMAN Triathlon in the world to participate in the 24th edition of IRONMAN Lanzarote

 

 

There are currently 1651 registered members of 38 different nationalities, of which 558 are Spanish, 444 British, 129 German, 84 French and 74 Belgian, where 1517 are men (91,88%) and 134 women (8,12%).

In the field of professionals have confirmed their participation  Miquel Blanchart, Guillaume Jeannin, Fred Schaffner y Hendrik-Jan Verhaegen.

A curious fact of this edition that is the average age is located in the 41 years, where the youngest triathlete to participate has 18 years and the most veteran 75.

In addition there are athletes who participate for charitable causes, such as Eduardo Rangel (Donate Lives) or athletes who come from other sports, such as Damian Vindel, Sevillian Olympic canoeist, Myriam Pirish Gómez, swimmer Sevillian also.
