More than 3.000 duathletes will participate in the CRE Duathlon and Avilés Relay Championships 2023

La National League of Duathlon Clubs will reach the equator of its calendar next weekend with the Spanish Duathlon Time Trial Teams and Relay Championships, together with which the equivalent days of the Triathlon Club Talent League will be held.

More than three thousand duathletes they will compete in the Avilés 2023 Duathlon events, which was presented at the City Hall with the participation of Mariví Monteserin, Mayor of Avilés; Graciela Blanco, Deputy Minister of Tourism of the Government of Asturias; and Jorge García, Director of Competitions of the Spanish Triathlon Federation.

The Domingo Álvarez Acebal square will host the Avilés Duathlon 14 bib collection and expo area on Friday, April 2023, between 17:20 p.m. and XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.

El Saturday, April 15 the Spanish Duathlon Time Trial Championships Teams, with departures from 14:45 p.m. and competition until 19:XNUMX p.m. which will close with the awards ceremonies of the absolute Elite and Open categories.

Saturday morning will be dedicated to the Time Trial Talent Teams, with departure at 10 a.m. and awards ceremony at 12:30 p.m.

The teams of all categories will start from the Plaza del Ayuntamiento to carry out the three segments of the Duathlon, running, cycling and running.

El Sunday April 16, at 9 a.m. the Open tests of the Spanish Duathlon Relay Championship with the men's start, which will be followed five minutes later by the women's.

The Elite national Duathlon Relay competitions They will start at 11 a.m. the masculine, and 11:02 h. the feminine.

 The races that will close the event will be those corresponding to the Spanish Duathlon Championship for Talent Relay, starting at 12:45 p.m.

The day's awards ceremonies will begin at 11:10 a.m. with the award ceremony for the Men's and Women's Open Relay Duathlon, to continue at 13 pm. with the Spanish Elite Relay Duathlon Championship for women and men, and close the event at 14:30 p.m. with the one corresponding to the national Talent Relay.

The Madrid club Devils of Rivas VAS Cycling Boutique leads the First Division classification in both the men's and women's categories, after the first two days held a few weeks ago in Albacete, and in which the Spanish Duathlon championships for Clubs and Mixed Relays were held.

CEA Bétera, of the Valencian Community, and Saltoki Trikideak, de Navarra, completed the women's podium in the absence of competitions in Avilés and later in La Nucía "City of Sports".

In the men's category, the second and third places are for the moment for Peñota Dental Alusigma, from Portugalete, and Marlins Triathlon Madrid.

The clubs Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, Montilla Córdoba Triathlon y Albacete Triathlon Ingeteam lead the classification of Women's and men's First Division of the Triathlon Club Talent League, which combines Duathlon and Triathlon events and opened two weeks ago in Alcobendas with the Spanish Duathlon Championship for Mixed Talent Relay.

After the two days in Avilés, with the Team Time Trial and Relay competition, Triathlon days will be held in the coming months in Banyoles and Roquetas de Mar.
