43 Spanish triathletes in the Europa Cup of Quarteira

Uxío Abuín leaves with victory options after the third place in Gran Canaria 

Next April 1 will be held a new edition of the Triathlon European Cup en Quarteira (Portugal) with the presence of several Spanish triathletes.

In the male category Uxío Abuín, which comes from getting the third place in the European Cup of Gran Canaria,  David Castro third last year in this test Genis Grau, eighth in Gran Canaria, lead the 11 men who will participate in the test. Regarding the favorites the French Aurelien Raphael, last year's winner, the Portuguese Joao Pereira, and ours Uxío Abuín they come out as favorites for victory.

Spanish male participation

In the women Anna Godoy, eleventh in the European Cup of Gran Canaria,  Anna Flaquer, Paula Batlle, Meritxell Velasco , Xisca tous y Sára Lopez they will be our representation in the test.

Spanish female participation

The women's test will start on April 1 at 12:45 (Spanish time) while the men's test will begin at 15:30 (Spanish time). The test will be held on Olympic distance.

En junior category Spain will be represented by 7 boys and 8 girls who will compete on Sunday, April 2.
