Abraham Kiptum has pulverized the world record today in the Half Marathon in Valencia at the end of the competition with a final time of 58:18, beating the previous record held by 2010 Eritrean Zersenay Tadese with a time of 58: 23.

In women, Geleta Burka Bati is the winner of the 28 edition of the Valencia Alfonso Alfonso Half Marathon EDP with a time of 1: 06: 11. After her, they cross the new goal after traveling the world's fastest 21.097,5 meters Alia Mohammed Saeed (1: 06: 13) and Edith Chelimo (1: 06: 18).
