Ainhoa Murua revalidates title of champion in the aquatlon of Noja

The Olympic triathlon diploma of the last Games of London, Ainhoa Murua, has revalidated the title of champion in the 11th edition of the Aquathelon of Noja and has received a tribute for her performance in that competition with a plaque in recognition of her sporting work.
The Noja City Council has indicated today in a statement that “around 200 national and international athletes” met at Ris Beach in a test “already established” in the calendar which mixes swimming and athletics.
In total, more than 2.000 euros were distributed in prizes in a competition that followed the regulations of the Cantabrian Federation of Modern Pentathlon and Triathlon.
In the dispute for the regional championship, Sandra Garrido and Marcos Mendiola reached the title in their respective individual categories, while the Lupa Triathlon team did it by teams.
For its part, the Noja Playa Dorada won the victory in the school championship.
The aquathlon has been organized by the Department of Sports of the City of Noja in collaboration with the Cantabrian Federation, the Local Police, the Triathlon Club of the municipality, Civil Protection and the emergency medical service.
