The Brownlee make the leap into organizing sporting events

A solidarity goal

The acquisition of TriHard Events by the Brownlee Foundation It has a double objective.

On the one hand, it seeks to offer quality multisport events, accessible to all levels of participants.

On the other hand, it is proposed to reinvest the profits from these events in the foundation to organize free mini triathlons for children in primary schools, thus promoting youth participation in sport.

To date, more than 53,500 children have participated in events hosted by the Brownlee Foundation.

Jonny Brownlee explains that the objective is to introduce young people to sports, instilling in them the values and benefits that come with it.

The idea is that, regardless of whether they continue in triathlon or any of its disciplines, they are inspired to lead an active and healthy life.

The events

The Helvellyn Triathlon, located in the stunning Lake District, is a race that holds a special place in the heart of Alistair Brownlee.

Known to be one of the toughest in the world, it includes a swim in Ullswater, a demanding bike ride known as 'The Struggle' and a run in Helvellyn. Alistair emphasizes the importance of maintaining the essence of this event: challenging, direct and well organized.

Additionally, exciting changes are announced for the Dalesman, which will merge with the Ripon Triathlon to create the Ripon Triathlon Festival.

This event promises to be a weekend full of different distances and races for children, following the festival model that has been so successful in places like Roth, Germany.
