With more illusions than ever .. Spanish Duathlon Championship adapted by Felipe Gutiérrez

Settling in the competition

 

 

Perhaps one day the International Federations and the International Paralympic Committee will have to consider that the duathlon should also have a place in some JParalympic games as one more modality. Of course, surely never enter the Paralympic program because that would be more organizational problems, categories and other paraphernalia.

The case is the athletes with Paralympic aspirations in Soria they gave a recital worthy of the best sporting show. The audience was amazed and applauded the athletes who were fighting for a victory, the goal was their best medal and they fought and achieved it.

 

Everyone has their place in my heart when I write about them, I follow the competition from the beginning to the end and they are all at least "my acquaintances", some friends in this world. But today I want to highlight here the titanic effort of a duatleta, of Raúl Llamazares, maybe many do not know his sports career but Raúl in 1999 already won a bronze medal in a Duathlon World Championship with the Spanish team, besides having been a few times international, and in 1994 won the San Silvestre Vallecana in amateurs.

 

 

A hemiplegia leaves him out of high level sport and ... now he has participated in this tough test of Soria. Raul encouraged and ole your eggs! , we hope to see you always there fighting.
