Known for her talent and unwavering passion, Valero transformed athletics in Spain, inspiring generations of athletes. 

A Career Full of Success  

Carmen Valero was not only a prominent figure in athletics; Her career is a compendium of achievements and milestones that made her a role model in various sports disciplines, including triathlon.  

From his first steps into the sport, Valero demonstrated exceptional skill and determination.  

Became double world cross country champion in 1976 and 1977, an unprecedented achievement that put Spanish women's athletics on the international map.  

In addition to her successes in cross country, Valero was a pioneer at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games, where he competed in the 800 and 1.500 meter events. 

 This milestone marked a before and after in the history of Spanish women's sports, paving the way for future generations of Olympic athletes. 

At the national level, Valero dominated the slopes, winning multiple Spanish championships at distances ranging from 800 to 5.000 meters.
