The family of the missing triathlete Victor Martín asks for the help of the Army to look for him

The family of Víctor Martín, the athlete who disappeared since January's 1 in Teide, sent a statement this afternoon requesting the Tenerife Council to consider the possibility of mobilizing the Army to support the search for the Tenerife corridor.

Full report of the family of Víctor Martín:

"Goodnight;
My name is Natalia Martín Pérez, I am the cousin of Víctor Martín Teni, disappeared on January 1 in Las Cañadas del Teide.

My family and I would like to thank all the support and solidarity in recent days for all the people of Tenerife, the security forces, emergency services and coordination, mountaineering teams, volunteers and everyone who has collaborated selflessly in the diffusion of the news.

Despite all the efforts made by so many people and the resources employed, we still do not have Victor back. We would like to take advantage of this opportunity that is offered to us to request that the Cabildo de Tenerife consider sending military personnel to support the search efforts.

This is a desperate call, since we have been informed that in the next few days the search tasks could be suspended due to weather forecasts and the time it has disappeared.

We will not rest until we bring him back home, every day that passes is crucial considering that we do not know if he is injured, if he has water, food or shelter to overcome the low temperatures expected for the next few days.

We encourage volunteers, mountaineering and triathlon teams and friends to continue climbing the Parador del Teide every day, where the search tasks are coordinated from the 9.00 am. We also ask anyone who has seen or could see it to communicate to 112.

And finally reiterate that the "urgent need" to employ the army in the search tasks is being considered.

WE WILL NOT STOP UNTIL YOU FIND IT, AGUANTA VICTOR WE'LL GO TO BRING YOU HOME. WE LOVE YOU

Thank you very much for reading this email and supporting our family by publishing this in your newspaper, transmitting our feeling and despair before a tragedy of this caliber.

Yours sincerely

Natalia Martín Pérez ".

Not only your family, but the whole world runner in Spain he has joined this request, as for example Valenti Sanjuan, also presenter at TV3, who has recorded a video on YouTube that is circulating a lot during the last hours.
