Doublet of Mario Mola and Vicente Hernández in Mooloolaba

Mario Mola gets his second victory in two weeks 

 

 

This morning the Mooloolaba World Cup was played in Australia with victory for Mario Mola, and the second place of Vicente Hernández.  

The madrigada of Friday has been disputed the masculine competition, where the TriArmada has realized a great race, dominating it completely and finalizing the test with the final double of Mola and Hernandez. 

After a quick swim, the Australian Marcel Walkintong was the first to get on the bike, and after him to 10 '' a stretched group with more than 60 triathletes in 40 seconds. Vicente Hernández was 4º after the T1, with Mario Mola at 20 '', Nan Oliveras a little behind and Alberto Casillas (brother of Míriam competing under the Lithuanian flag attached to Nan).

After the first 5km of cycling a large group of more than 50 units is formed with all the Spaniards, but where Casillas can not take a wheel and stays further behind. Mario Mola acts as the "boss" of the peloton, dominating the top positions throughout the sector. Halfway through cycling, it is Oliveras who has a problem and gives time. 

Mario Mola has once again become the fastest in the race by completing the 5 km in 14: 44

The great group arrives united to the T2, from where Mario Mola goes out in search of the victory, to the passage through the first kilometer they only hold with the Balearic, Ron Darmon, Joan Pereira and Vicente Hernández. Around the 3 km the two Spaniards go alone in search of glory, and run side by side until the final meters where Mario Mola put the 7ª march and take the victory. To 5 '' there is a huge Vicente Hernández and closes the podium the Portuguese Joao Pereira. For its part Nan Oliveras ended at position 54.
