The Ironman of Lanzarote changes its route
The test will change the race circuit on foot.
The organization has announced on social networks that the race circuit on foot in the Club La Santa Ironman Lanzarote of 2017 will have two laps, one of 30,15 km arriving at the emblematic Charco San Ginés in Arrecife to surround it and then face the second round of approximately 12Km in length.
The test will be held next May 20
El Ironman of Lanzarote He is one of the oldest IRONMAN in the world. This test had its first edition in 1992 with 148 participants. Today, 1.800 triathletes are the ones that take the start every year. In addition to being a benchmark for its "longevity" it is also a reference for the hardness in the cycling segment.
For this edition, some of the professional triathletes that will participate in the race are already confirmed, with several winners of the race being on the starting line, as they are Jesse Thomas (2016) and Tina Holst (2016), Italian Alexander Degasperi (2015) or Romain Guillaume (2014) and Lucy Gossage (2014) Saleta Castro 4 times TOP 7 in the test has also confirmed its presence.
