The IRONMAN Vichy forced to change its format

This weekend, one of the most important events in the country and much loved by the Spanish, the IRONMAN and IM 70.3 Vichy, will be held in France.

The tests that take place on Saturday (80.3) and Sunday (Full) have had to modify their format since the Ironman Vichy for triathlon.

Both races eliminate the swimming segment and only the bike and the foot race will take place.

"For several days, we have been closely following the evolution of the water quality of the Lac d'Allier after the recent meteorological events and especially the episodes of heavy rain.

Unfortunately, recent tests highlight a sharp deterioration in water quality.

Following the recent rains and thunderstorms, it will take several days for the water quality to no longer pose a health risk and reach the level required by our IRONMAN company.

As a result, we regret to inform you that the IRONMAN 70.3 Vichy swim segment on Saturday and the IRONman Vichy VinFast on Sunday are cancelled.

The race continues with the cycling and running segments, with a neutralized start. "
