Two years ago in Monza the world got to 26 seconds from breaking the last milestone in athletics. This fall I want to break this barrier.

2 years ago, he was just 26 seconds away from the 2 hours in a challenge organized by Nike and now he is thinking about trying again in the next month of October.
Kipchoge this 2019 has won for the fourth time the London marathon with the best record in history, completing the 42 km in a time of 2: 02: 37.
The challenge is expected to be made in a 2 or 3 kilometers circuit in the city of London, in a park (Battersea Park) or by closed roads in the city.
This time will have the support of Jim Ratcliffe, owner of the company Ineos, which recently bought the Sky cycling team.
"PFor athletics this is the most extraordinary challenge facing a human being. For any of us who run, the concept of traveling 42 kilometers to 2 minutes and 50 seconds per kilometer is unthinkable. Most people on the planet could not do that, so achieving it would be almost superhuman“Ratcliffe said in statements collected by The Guardian.
The authorities are expected to be flexible on the dates, since a two-week window is needed in October so that they can run on a day with little wind and a suitable temperature. “If it is a road circuit, it must be a Sunday morning and we must have at our disposal three consecutive weekendsRatcliffe noted.
As it happened in Monza, Kipchoge will have a vehicle in front of you to make a wind parapet and mark the pace that hares should follow. In that occasion his record was not taken as officiall by not following the IAAF rules. “It's not about the IAAF, it's about the story. I really want to leave a great legacyKipchoge says.
