EPIC TRIATHLON Spanish Triathlon Championship LD 2024

The Spanish Triathlon Federation confirms the Mediterranean EPIC Triathlon as the seat of Spanish Long Distance Triathlon Championship next May 25, 2024.

The test, which will celebrate its third edition, will debut its FULL distance and It will host with it the best of the national triathlon in the fight for the official LD ​​titles.

The privileged environment of Oropesa del Mar and Cabanes It will be the scene of the Championship.

Both locations offer the perfect combination of landscapes and facilities to host an event of these characteristics with the guarantees that FETRI seeks for its athletes and official competitions.

In addition to the Spanish Long Distance Triathlon Championship, fans will be able to compete in the distance HALF on the same day of May 25.

For the next day, Sunday, May 26, there will be the celebration of distances OLYMPIC y SPRINT.

Mediterranean EPIC Triathlon It doesn't stop there: to make the event more familiar and accessible, a complete program of activities has been prepared for the athletes, their companions and, especially, for the youngest members of the family.

It is a guarantee that, in addition to the competition, there will be fun and entertainment throughout the weekend.

226 kilometers around Oropesa and Cabanes 

After two first editions with HALF distance, the 2024 edition debuts the 226 kilometers of the FULL distance.

Triathletes will have to face a two-lap swim in the warm waters of the Mediterranean. After completing the 3.800 meters, they will face the 180km cycling segment, in which they will have to complete three laps of 60 kilometers and a total of 1.275 meters of accumulated elevation gain.

A demanding route ideal for the most experienced cyclists who will try to play their cards and reach T2 with the greatest possible advantage. The final 42,195 meters will pass near the Oropesa promenade, in a flat 10,5 kilometer circuit where participants will have to do four laps until they reach the iconic finish line, which in this edition will crown the Champion. Long Distance Triathlon 2024.

In addition to the distinction as Champions of Spain, the event also has a financial award: 10.000 euros will be distributed in prizes between the male and female categories, to which another 5.000 euros must be added for the HALF distance.

Open enrollment

The registration fees, except for Elite triathletes with a current single section of 249 euros, are:

• Second section (up to 250 registered): 249 euros
• Third section (from 250 registered): 299 euros
• Four sections until the end of registration: 349 euros
