Fernando Alarza leader and Javier Gómez Noya third of the World
We have Spanish 3 in the Top 10 of the world
With the sixth place achieved yesterday in the WTS Montreal Fernando Alarza rises to the first place in the world ranking with 3.282 points, ahead of 82 points to second place Vicent Luis , which has one race less.
The Galician Javier Gómez Noya climbs to third place with 3.108 and Mario Mola with the second place goes up to the seventh place with 2.293 points.
We're seeing a WTS season very exciting, since the options are completely open so that any triathlete of the top 10 can get the world title.
Only 2 athletes have repeated podium this season
Highlight, that only 2 athletes have repeated podium this season, Mario Mola with his victory in Abu Dhabi and second place in Edmonton and Javier Gómez Noya with second place in Bermuda and third place in Leeds.
If Mario continues to perform at this level he will be able to discard the bad test positions in Leeds, Yokohama and Bermuda (29, 29 and 26)
In a season without a clear dominator, Fernando Alarza he is being the most regular, where he has always been in Top 10 positions, with a podium in Abu Dhabi, 2 sixth places and two ninths.
Vicent Luis, Second of the Ranking did not participate in this test has a victory in Yokohama, a fourth, fifth and sixth place.
Both Noya and Luis have a less competitive race so they can try to improve their worst result at the moment, a sixth for Luis and a fourth for Noya.
