FETRI AND IRONMAN Spain renew their collaboration until 2027 

The Spanish Triathlon Federation (FETRI) and IRONMAN Spain have announced the renewal of their collaboration agreement until 2027.  

This agreement strengthens the relationship between both entities and promises to take triathlon in Spain to new heights. 

The relationship between FETRI and IRONMAN Spain It has been one of the most fruitful in the world of triathlon. According to José Hidalgo, president of FETRI, this agreement is pioneering and has served to unite two worlds that previously lived behind each other. 

The new agreement focuses on closer collaboration for the benefit of triathletes. Agustí Pérez, regional director of HOMBRE DE HIERRO for Southern Europe, emphasized the importance of working together for the common good of sport. 

New Headquarters 

One of the most exciting news is the incorporation of Valencia to the headquarters of IRONMAN Spain for 2024.  

Valencia joins the already confirmed Alcúdia-Mallorca, Lanzarote, Vitoria-Gasteiz, Calella-Barcelona and Marbella. 

Marisol Married, president of World Triathlon, and Félix Jordán de Urriés, general director of the Young Sports Foundation of the Higher Sports Council, have also shown their enthusiasm for this agreement. 

Calendar IRONMAN Spain 2024

The schedule for 2024 has already been confirmed and promises to be exciting.
