The government will not allow the Royal Society to train

The Royal Decree prohibits the opening of any sports venue

The Real Sociedad soccer team announced yesterday that it intended to resume closed-door training starting next Tuesday.

Although the CSD says that the Royal Decree prohibits the opening of any sports venue during the State of Alarm

In a statement they commented on this measure:

"Once the central government has made the decision that non-essential activities will be able to restart their work, the players of the first professional squad will have the option of continuing their individualized work in Zubieta from Tuesday.

In no case will this work be done in a group and will be done following the protocols established for this purpose, which scrupulously respect the security measures agreed upon by the healthcare providers.

Among other measures, the players who decide to go to Zubieta will do so individually and in stages."

The state of alarm prohibits the opening of any sports facility says the government

However, the government did not take long to stop this initiative from the club, since The Royal Decree that started the State of Alarm prohibits the opening of any sports facility.

"It is very clear and the third additional provision of the Royal Decree published days ago does not allow this activity or the return to training, since any sports facility must remain closed," he points out to ABC a CSD worker, who prefers to remain anonymous.

The Government considers that, with the sports competitions stopped and with no date yet for its resumption, it makes no sense to open your hand and allow a movement of people that could aggravate the situation of the pandemic.
