Gómez Noya starts 2013 with victory at Alcatraz
The Spanish Javier Gómez Noya, current Olympic runner-up, he could not have started 2013 better, as he won the 'Escape from Alcatraz.
Noya, who dominated the test at all times, finished with a final time of 2h04: 27 followed by O'Grady I set a time from 2h05: 39 and in third position Jesse Thomas with 2h06: 40.
Francesc Godoy who also participated in the test finished fifth with a time of 2h09: 38.
The next test of the Spanish champion is the Mooloolaba triathlon to be held next March's 17 in Australia.
