Everything ready for the Triathlon World Series. Gómez Noya defends his world title

Gómez Noya, Jonathan Bronwlee, Mario Mola and Fernando Alarza start as favorites.

 

 

The next weekend the ITU Triathlon World Series with the presence of eight Spaniards in the starting line in elite category for men and women. The New Zealand town of Auckland will be responsible for opening this new edition, the next 5 and 6 in April.

 

The circuit will consist of 1,5 km initial swimming by the Bay of Auckland, followed by eight cycling laps along a marked route, for its impressive climbs; a very technical sector that will cross the largest city in New Zealand, to finally end with a very fast and technical segment of four laps (10 km in total) of running.

 

Spain goes to the appointment with a broad representation, with the current world champion Javier Gómez Noya, that will face again Jonathan Brownlee, initiating the defense of your title.

 

 Along with Gómez Noya, we will also have the third place in the 2014 edition, Mario Mola; who arrives at the appointment in a splendid state of form after the triumphs in the World Cup of Mooloolaba y New Plymouth.

 

In addition, we will also see the return to the World Series of one of our great triathletes, Ivan Raña. They join in this first round, Cesc Godoy, Fernando Alarza y Vicente Hernández.

 

 While in females we will see again Carolina Routier y Tamara Gómez in action, in search of valuable points for the ranking.

 

La female test will begin at dawn on Sunday at the 02: 10, Spanish peninsular time. While the exit of the elite malea is planned for the 05: 40, Spanish peninsular time.
