Gore Tex Experience Tour: the adventure of the Alpine Quadratlon

Four days, four countries and four disciplines (road and mountain bike, running and trail running)

The Gore Tex Experience Tour -del 24 al 27 de julio- It's a challenge for outdoor sports enthusiasts. 240 will be miles of adventure through stunning landscapes of the Alps, divided into four stages, with four different disciplines (road bike, mountain bike, running and trail running), and crossing four countries: Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy. All this results in an original Alpine Quadratlon in which participants will have to climb stony slopes, travel long distances and climb steep slopes.

Only lucky 30 will take part in the Gore Tex Experience Tour Alpine Quattrathlon. All those interested should sign up  www.experience-tour.com (The registration period is now open) and on June 13, a jury will announce the names of those chosen. During the crossing through Austria, Germany, Switzerland and Italy, the 30 participants will be accompanied by the ASICS triathlete Jan Frodeno, a gold medalist in Olympic triathlon, and Clemens Deilmann, designer of GORE BIKE WEAR, who will offer their support and valuable advice during these days.

The Alpine Quadratlon includes four different events. Participants will leave from Warth (Austria) and travel 25 km. trailrunning through the Schrofenpass mountain pass, making a brief foray into Germany before ending the first day in Lech (Austria), where they will spend the night. The next day, the road bike test awaits them: 140 km. through the mountainous landscape that stretches between Lech and Graun (Italy). The third day will be dedicated to mountain biking: 45 km of hard tracks with an approximate difference of 1.700 m to Mals (South Tirol / Italy). Finally, on the fourth day, they will have to gather their remaining energy to run the 30 km to Latsch (Italy), where they will cross the finish line.

Going well equipped for this challenge is crucial, and that's why the participants will receive during the Gore Tex Experience Tour running shoes and ASICS sportswear and GORE BIKE WEAR cycling clothing. In addition, they will be provided with bicycles, helmets and cycling shoes for the four-day Tour in the Alps, a test of endurance.
