Great performance by triathletes at the National Cross Country 

The Spanish Cross Country Championships were held yesterday at the emblematic Cerro de los Ángeles in Getafe, an event that has brought together the best athletes in the country.  

Among them, triathletes stood out Vicente Hernández y María Varo who had a great career.  

Vicente Hernández, affectionately known as 'Chente', after overcoming a period of injuries, this Canarian triathlete has returned strongly, placing himself in an admirable 11th place overall and 9th among Spaniards with a time of 31:32. 

In addition to the participation of Vicente Hernández also participated Mario Mola, running through the Balearic Islands, finished in 16th position with a time of 31:58.  

As for the winner Rodrigue Kwizera, representing the Valencian Community, took victory in an impressive time of 29:45.

Next to him, in a timed tie, he stood Thierry Ndikumwenayo, also from the Valencian Community, who shared the same time of 29:45. Third place was occupied by Abderrahmane Aferdi from Castilla La Mancha, with a time of 30:11.

In the women's competition, María Varo, from Toledo, has shone with her own light, finishing in 11th position and 10th in Spain with a time of 36:46 

Caroline Oaks, from Andalusia, was crowned champion with a time of 35:34, followed by Irene Sanchez from Castilla La Mancha, with a time of 35:41 and by Aciru Knight, also from Castilla La Mancha, with a time of 35:57,
