Iberman LD already has the OK of Portugal.

The test has received the OK from the Portuguese representatives

Last week, after the meeting with the Mayor of Ayamonte, IBERMAN LD reopened the registration and this week they received the approval from Portugal.

The organization has sent us a statement explaining the news and the confirmation by the Portuguese authorities of the route of the test.

"After a frantic week collaborating in another exciting project such as the I CAMPUS DE TRIATLON in the CAR DE SIERRA NEVADA, we are already fully focused on the big event of the year, the third edition of the IBERMAN LD of the next 3 in October

Yesterday we met with all the representatives of the devices that will participate in Portuguese soil, GNR, Maritime Captaincy, Police, Civil Protection, Firemen, who will watch over your safety in the test. 

Among all we gave the go-ahead to the tour, which compared to the second edition has minimal changes. One of the most important is that the DEPARTURE and GOAL will be in the same place for a greater comfort of all.

NEW

Swimming is still the same, in front of the Hotel of the test, 2 turns with a water outlet. EYE!! The output will be 7: 30 because at 7: 00 there is NO light !!!

On the bike, the only change will be the final one and its arrival at the T2, since from Ayamonte we have been suggested that it be more integrated in the town and will be taken to the Plaza de España, where it was placed in the Media Distancia.

Regarding the race, there will be a link of 24 km from Ayamonte to the starting point and the finish line at Monte Gordo, and there will start a route of 6 km which will have to be given 3 laps. This way, the participants will be able to feel and receive the support of all their people in the final meters of this exciting test.

TRIATLON SPRINT

In addition to the LD, to liven up the wait while LD riders return, we are considering the possibility of doing a TRIP SPRINT, with start and finish in the same place as the LD. All the routes would be the same as those of the LD. Swimming on the beach of Monte Gordo, the bike tour, 2 turns to a route of 10 km and the 5 km of race would be marked between Monte Gordo and Vila Real de Santo Antonio
