The corpse was found casually by a hiker in an area of ​​the Icod del Teide slope, specifically in a small and “very deep” crater that is difficult to access in an area of ​​lava flow and picón. The recovery of the body required the participation of the helicopter due to the difficulties involved in operating in the place.

Guillermo Díaz Guerra recalled that at 24 hours of his disappearance there was a great snowfall in the Teide and indicated that the body has been found at the bottom of a slope where a large amount of snow usually falls. In the next 24 hours will give the results of the autopsy.
