Mediterránea Triathlon opens registration for MTRI CASTELLÓN 2024
The circuit already has more than 1.000 registrations in 2024
Today, Thursday, February 22, registration for the second MTRI headquarters opens.
The city of Castellón will celebrate its numerous popular triathlon on weekend of July 6/7, in the surroundings of the Grao de Castellón, with the Planetarium Beach as the maritime setting, and the Javier Marquina Soccer Field, as ground zero of the test.
This same space will house the transition box, as well as the delivery of numbers, the expo and post-finish area, with the traditional paellas cooked live, and which in this edition can be tasted, not only by the participants, but also by the /the companions, through a prior ticket acquired in the registration process.
Registration at reduced prices
Registrations go on sale at reduced prices, in this first batch of 24 hours with promotional rates, which will therefore last until 17 p.m. on Friday, February 23.
Registration will begin at 17:00 p.m.
From 20 € Those interested may register for the Supersprint distance; €35 to Sprint, and €40 for the Olympic distance.
In this edition, in the individual modality, as well as Supersprint and Sprint Couples, the Olympic Couples option is added, giving many regular triathletes the opportunity to increase their challenge with that queen distance of 1.500 m + 40 km + 10 km accompanied by a friend, family member or teammate.
It must be taken into account that one of the main advantages of registration in pairs, in addition to the reduced rate, is the possibility for 2 people of different sexes to start together, something unusual in the sport of triathlon.
Regarding schedules, on Saturday the Supersprint and Sprint will take place, individuals and pairs; while on Sunday the Olympic distance will take place, also in both modalities.
In the short disciplines, the popular triathlon regulations will be applied, with the aim of promoting the practice of our sport, and for more and more people to join MTRI Castellón, as its challenge/challenge 2024
In this sense, in both distances, it is possible to use a mountain bike as well as swim bare-chested.
More than 1.000 registrations at the 3 venues
The circuit now has more than 1.000 participants after registration opened last January, both for the Alicante headquarters and for MTRI Pack, joint registration for the 3 cities: Alicante (May 18/19), Castellón (May 6 /July 7) and Valencia (September 14/15).
On the other hand, currently the rankings of the 2024 circuit are activated after the dispute of the València Duatlón by MTRI, in the distance modalities Supersprint and Supersprint Couples, as well as the classification of clubs with the greatest participation, which is headed by CEA Bétera, followed by Triatló Alginet, and in third position the SD.
Roadrunner. A ranking, that of clubs, that will be awarded by the technical partner of the circuit, 42 K, with €1.000, €600 and €300 respectively, after the final test that will be held in Valencia.
