Ironman 70.3 lands on Sunday in Barcelona

El Ironman 70.3 Barcelona will hold its first edition in Calella this Sunday 18 in May, with nearly 1600 enrolled among all categories.

The elite competition will feature 57 participants from 14 countries, all seeking to claim the title at the premiere in the peninsula of an Ironman competition.

The local triathlete Víctor del Corral part as one of the big favorites, but to do so he will have to face great rivals like the New Zealander Terenzo Bozzone, the Danish Rasmus Petraeus, the Italian Domenico Passuello, the Swiss Jan van Berkel or the teutón Markus Fachbach. Other Spaniards who could give the surprise in this event are Raúl Amatraian o Richard Calle

In the female elite we will enjoy the return Camilla Pedersen, after the serious accident suffered last September. The 2013 European Distance Media Champion in Calella and current European Ironman champion. The Danish will have in the German Diana Riesler and Katja Konschak some of his great adversaries in this meeting.
