On May 7th, the city of Marbella will once again be the great stage of the IRONMAN franchise in Spain with the celebration of the 70.3 Marbella, which in 2023 will celebrate its fifth edition.

This year more than 1.500 triathletes will participate in this test in one of the most emblematic enclaves of the Mediterranean, which also will host the TriClubs IRONMAN 70.3 European Championship.

This edition will host the TriClubs IRONMAN 70.3 European Championship, an event that brings together clubs from all over Europe to achieve new joint goals.

More than 220 TriClubs will compete in Marbella, hoping to wrest the title from last year's winners Tri Team Lutry

Outstanding presence of professional triathletes

The IRONMAN 70.3 Marbella attracts professional triathletes from all over the world.

Among the most prominent names are Nikki Bartlett current defending champion, and Marta Bernardi, Bartlett's rival and winner of the IRONMAN 70.3 Cascáis.

In the men's category, there are several names that, in the absence of the defending champion, the Belgian Christophe De Keyser , although the name of Andreas Dreitz who will look for a victory to start the 2023 season.

Other names to keep in mind are patrick cometta (CHE), Domenico Passuello (ITA), Youri Keulen (NLD), Antony Costes (FRA), Nicholas Mann (GER) and Henrik Gosch (FIN), who will try to get a place in the IRONMAN World Championship 70.3 to run at home for the first time in Lahti, Finland.
