Jan Frodeno returns to competition at the IRONMAN 70.3 in Andorra

The German triathlete Jan Frodeno, three-time IRONMAN world champion, returns to competition this weekend at the IRONMAN 70.3 of Andorra.

This event is his first competition since his return to the IRONMAN tests a month ago in Hamburg, Germany where he finished in fourth position

Frodeno, who lives in Girona and spends long periods in Andorra to benefit from training at altitude, will compete 'at home'.

Despite taking the 'chocolate medal' in Hamburg, expectations are high for the 42-year-old veteran athlete.
