Javier Gómez Noya best Spanish athlete of the year

He has received the award from the hands of King Felipe VI

This morning the ceremony of the sport awards where the trophies have been given to the best Spanish athletes, including our champion Javier Gómez Noya.

The 4 times Triathlon World Champion, IRONMAN 70.3 World Champion, 3 times European Champion, 1 Olympic Silver medal among other victories has achieved recognition with this well-deserved award.

Other winners of the ceremony were Mireia Belmonte, Diego Pablo Simeone, Ángela Salvadores, David Casinos and the director Víctor Santamaría among others

These awards, granted by the Higher Sports Council, recognize people or entities that, either because of their direct activity or personal initiative, or as participants in the development of sports policy, have contributed significantly to promote or disseminate physical activity -sporty.
