Javier Gómez Noya returns “to the ring” this weekend at the IRONMAN 70.3 Mossel Bay 

The world of triathlon is preparing for one of the most anticipated returns of the year: that of Javier Gómez Noya to the IRONMAN franchise. 

This weekend, we celebrate IRONMAN 70.3 Mossel Bay in the picturesque city of Mossel Bay (South Africa) where the presence of Javier Gómez Noya, who returns to the competition with great expectations. 

After his impressive performance in the recent Vigo Half Marathon, Noya is emerging as one of the big favorites for victory.

With average temperatures of 18°C ​​in the air and 19°C in the water, athletes will face ideal conditions. 

The course, known for its natural beauty, includes the majesty of the Outeniqua Mountains and the blue waters of the ocean, providing a stunning backdrop for the competition.

In addition to Gómez Noya, other notable athletes such as Bradley Weiss, Matt Trautman and Tom Hug will also seek to take the podium.

In the women's category the competition promises to be equally exciting. The starting list highlights renowned athletes, including Emma Pallant Browne from the UK already Magda Nieuwoudt from South Africa, among other notable competitors.

For fans in Spain, the competition will start at 5:30 am peninsular time.
