Javier Gómez Noya returns to compete in the WTS Leeds

This weekend the second round of the Triathlon World Series will be held in England with the WTS Leeds.

In the test that will be the best in the world the Triarmada will have the presence of Javier Gómez Noya that returns to the competition.

They will also be Fernando Alarza, Antonio Serrat, Miriam Casillas y Anna Godoy.

A high level in the test

In the men's event of the competition there will be a high level where they will be on the starting line in addition to Javier Gómez Noya, the world champions Vicent Luis, Alistair and Jonathan Brownlee.

There will also be triathletes of the level of Kristian BlummenfeltAlex Yee, Marten Van Riel and the rest of the series regulars.

In the female category they will be Flora Duffy , Lucy Charles, Non Standford, Laura Lindermann, Maya Kingman,  Katie Zaferes o  Taylor Spivey  among others.

Miriam Casillas returns to the competition after eighth place in Yokohama and her fall in the Lisbon Cup.

British duel for the games

The British team comes to the test with a total of 8 women and 7 men where second place is at stake (they are looking for third place) for the Tokyo games to be played Alistair Brownlee and young Alex Yee.

In addition there will also be Lucy Charles, who will debut in a World Series.

The competition will be held on Sunday, June 6 at the following times

  • Female test: 13:08 (12:08 in Spain)
  • Male test: 15:54 (14:54 in Spain)
