Jose Manuel López ends the "triple-decaironman", 30 ironman followed in 30 days

One of the toughest ultra-distance tests that has ever been known, it will be remembered in Spain with the name of Jose Manuel López, as he was the first to complete this spectacular challenge.

In this way the Spanish triathlete managed to successfully complete the distance corresponding to 30 Ironman followed within 30 days with a total time of 373 hours 28 minutes 00 seconds. Another Italian triathlete but settled in Spain, Roberto Lendaro, having achieved in the last edition to complete the Double-DecaIronman (20 ironman in 20 days) had to withdraw from the test due to problems with his back.

During this period that began at the beginning of September, another of the appointments that took place was the DecaIronman (10 Ironman in 10 days) it was here where the Spanish Ramón Martínez, with a total time of 157 hours 18 minutes 27 seconds finished the test in which also took part the recognized Spanish Paratriathlete Diego Velazquez, being the first one with Multiple sclerosis in the world to complete a long distance triathlon, who had to retire in the second Ironman, when he suffered a severe blow to the eye during the swim segment that caused him macular edema and an increase in pressure and spillage in the eye, which prevented him from completing the test but from which he is already recovered to this day and training for your next goals.

In addition, and as a novelty, DECAIRONMAN  had the presence of the brand COMPEX, also used by Spanish triathletes who train and compete in highly demanding tests, and that thanks to the "electrostimulators" helped in the post-goal area of ​​the DECAIRONMAN to the rapid recovery of the same giving guarantees to be able to successfully face the following competition day and delaying fatigue in this way.

DECAIRONMAN is presented today as one of the most demanding tests of ultradistance in which very few triathletes in the world have managed to complete this demanding challenge.
