The North vs South Race, the fight for the Capital at the hands of Skechers

In this new appointment, the runners of the North, with the help of their Captain Martin Fiz, will try to achieve their third consecutive win, while the South, with Raquel Gómez as leader, will look for his ninth victory in the history of the race.

Festive, colorful atmosphere, healthy chop and a very fast circuit. These are the ingredients of the Skechers Norte Vs. Sur, which June 16 from 9: 00 hours will hold its eleventh edition in Madrid. As every year, each participant will choose which team will run in order to join the traditional and fun pique that has faced the two hobbies for a decade.

Again, each and every runner's time will count towards the final outcome of the battle: the best average net time in goal (Paseo del Prado) will determine who has been the conqueror of the capital this year, so any runner, regardless of their level, can feel champion if his team is finally imposed in the race.

At the moment the score is favorable to the South 8-2, although the North has shown with two consecutive wins that have taken the measure to this race. Once again, the marathon runner Martin Fiz will again act as captain of the northerners, while the dombenitense raquette Raquel Gómez will want to endorse the saying "the third is the vanquished" and lead his team to glory after two years in a row without getting your team to impose itself to the North.

The scenario of this battle is perfect for runners to get the best out of themselves in an incomparable scenario. The North Skechers Vs. South of Madrid repeats the route of the last edition, in which Sergio Salinero destroyed the chronometer to sign a spectacular 29: 21, record of the race.

With exit at Calle Mateo Inurria, the race offers a favorable profile during the majority of the route, with passage through the Puerta de Alcalá, visit to the goddess Cibeles and arrival at the Paseo del Prado.
