The Sevillana triathlete returns to compete after overcoming her injury

 

 

After a year, where injuries have been its main protagonist, it reappears in the Seville Triathlon y Half Triathlon of Seville. Just the same as his last triathlon tests, since days after his calvary of injuries arrived.

It reappears safe, but even with a point of fear because they have been hard months where yes and no day, the light was not seen, but thanks to a great work of training, fortifications and improvements we will see your waste of sympathy and decision for the streets of his native Seville.

 

How do you take the Half preparation?

Well, although not as specific as I would like.

For various reasons I could not have continuity in the three segments until just over a month ago, so the burden of training is still not as I would like to reach the test in the best conditions.

I hope I can put some good workouts on foot and on the bike before the Nutrisport Half Triathlon in Seville.

Why Nutrisport Half Triatlón de Sevilla?

Running at home I love it, I feel protected by my people and by the great public that loves this sport.

I am also very confident in the organization, I know that everything will be controlled and the athlete will be cared for and pampered at all times. In a demanding test like this there can be mistakes where the safety of the athlete is impaired.

That Andalusia Championship also gives an added value to the test.

With what options do you see yourself?

Well, I really do not know who will be in the exit. What I do know is that I'm going with a lot of enthusiasm and enthusiasm. I would like to fight for the Andalusia Championship, I think it is one of the few modalities that I have left in this sport.

You can give some advice ...

Train hard, the middle distance is a demanding test where you squeeze your body to the fullest.

Everything that the day of the test will eat and drink should be tested in training so they do not have stomach problems.

Do not release anything on the day of the test, the clothes to be worn must be used and tested in training or previous tests.

In the test you should always keep a little bit of strength and energy, the last km on foot can be very hard.

Normally during the test the appetite disappears but you have to force yourself to eat and drink to replenish glycogen deposits, mineral salts, water, etc.

The bicycle must pass review before, we can not have mechanical problems in a test where you spend part of the time mounted on it.
