Gran Triathlon Madrid is approaching 600 registered in its second price bracket
El Great Triathlon Madrid continues to establish itself as one of the most participatory popular triathlons in Spain.
It began its second phase of prices on March 25 and already there are almost 600 athletesthose who have registered in the different modalities and distances.
Competition program
The competition, a must-see event in Madrid triathlon, has a dynamic competition program for all types of athletes, with a first day on June 29 of individual testss most popular and a second day on Sunday 30 with the team competition in time trial format.

On the 29th, the Super Sprint distances are included, with 350-meter swimming, 7,7-kilometer cycling and 2-kilometer running; Sprint, which consists of 750 meters of swimming, 20 kilometers of cycling and 5 kilometers of running; and Standard, which is disputed in 1500 meters of swimming, 40 kilometers of bicycle and 10 kilometers of running.
The sprint and standard modalities can be done in relays, with a reliever performing each of the segments. In addition, the exclusive test for women “Women's Triathlon” returns in Super Sprint mode.
On Sunday the 30th, the day will include a team time trial triathlon competition for popular and federated members, including the option of competing in the test in mixed teams.
El Madrid Triathlon Team Time Trial Championship will award the title to the best women's and men's teams from federated clubs.
The competition route will take place in one of the most privileged settings of the Spanish capital, the green lung of Madrid, the Casa de Campo.
This natural environment offers a challenge for athletes and a spectacle for spectators, who can enjoy a unique location while cheering on the runners.
Free trainings
After the success of 2023, this year free training returns for those registered for the test so that they have the best advice to prepare for the competition.
The dates and training modalities are as follows:
- Race on foot: 14/04 in Casa de Campo from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Transitions: on 12/05 in Casa de Campo from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Cycling: 26/05 in Casa de Campo from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Swimming: 08/06 at Parque Deportivo Puerta de Hierro from 09 a.m. to 11 a.m.

Additionally, we launched a raffle for training packs for those registered in the test where we will reward the winners with a swimsuit, a t-shirt and socks.
School Triathlon
On Saturday afternoon the tests of the School Triathlon Circuit will be held, for triathletes from Madrid schools and non-federated children who want to do a triathlon.
Registration will open three weeks before the date of the competition for boys and girls between the ages of 6 and 17 who will swim, cycle and run at the Casa de Campo.
With no limit on places, about 900 little athletes are expected.

Collaboration of the Community of Madrid
The Community of Madrid collaborates in the different tests of the Great Madrid Triathlon as a joint initiative with the Madrid Triathlon Federation in order to promote the sport of triathlon.
Once again, the Community of Madrid is a benchmark as a venue for all kinds of sporting events, from grassroots sport to the highest sporting level.
