Mario Mola the best triathlete of the year ETU
The Mallorcan thanks to his third world cup has achieved this title given by the European Triathlon Federation
Coinciding with the ETU Conference of Presidents, the annual dinner was held in Dublin where the ETU (European Triathlon Federation) awards of the year 2018 were delivered
The winners of the gala have been Spanish Mario Mola, with his third victory in the WTS World Championship in 2018 and the British Vicky Holland ITU World Champion and winner of three WTS tests in 2018. Both who could not go to collect the prize thanked him through a video at dinner.
Among the nominees for the male prize were Márk DévaY. (HUN), Pierre Le Corre (FR) and Mario Mola (ESP) while for the female prize they were nominated Vicky Holland (GBR), Nicola Spirig (SUI) and Yulia Yelistratova (UKR)

At the gala, more awards were given, to the organizer of the year, to the paratriathletes of the year, to the federation of the year, to the best emerging federation and to the official of the year.
