Marta Cabello and Diego Méntrida win the San Sebastián de los Reyes qualifier

Martha Cabello, of the Diablillos de Rivas, and Diego Mentrida, from Peñota Dental Alusigma, won yesterday the first qualifying test for the Spanish Duathlon Championship.
The championship will be held in Soria on March 25
Marta Cabello she prevailed in the Women's Elite category with a time of 1:01:33 against Marta Borbón, from the Casablanca Mapei Stadium, 5 seconds behind; and Sonia Bejarano, from the Cidade de Lugo Fluvial, 14 seconds away.
Fourth place went to Tania Álvarez, from Ecosport Alcobendas, and fifth to María Alzaga, from Náutico de Narón.
In the men's category the victory went to Diego Mentrida with a total time of 53:46 ahead of Javi Martin, of the Marlins Triathlon Madrid, 8 seconds away and Miguel Angel Capo, of the Saltoki Trikideak, which he surpassed in 10 seconds.

The top five positions were completed by Sergio Latorre and Daniel Tolosa, both from the Stadium Casablanca Mapei.
The two remaining national qualifying tests will be held next Saturday, February 11 at the Duathlon of Berlanga de Duero and on Sunday, February 12 at the Águilas Carnival Duathlon.
