Miriam Casillas seventh in the Chengdu World Cup

The Spanish with a great performance enters the TOP10 of the test

After the first segment of 1,5 km of swimming, Casillas left more than a minute and 40 seconds of the leaders, who on their way to the T1 were led by the American Summer Cook. Ahead, the triathletes faced 40 km cyclists, with a first group of eight triathletes getting an income of more than 20 seconds. The front block would be extended to 22, at the same time it increased its advantage to more than 30 seconds on a new chasing group that included the Spanish Casillas.

Miriam Casillas, the only Spanish representative in the race, made a good cycling sector trained in the T2 in the first positions, she knew how to maintain a good rhythm in the race on foot which allowed her to finish the race in the seventh position with a final time of 2: 01: 41 and thus keep adding points for its Olympic classification.
