Javier Gómez Noya ". The goal is to keep adding points for the general, hopefully achieving the victory "

Cape Town is the fourth stop of the 2015 World Series

On Sunday at 15h (same time as here) it is held in Cape a new appointment of the circuit that grants the official world triathlon title, on the Olympic distance: 1,5km of swimming, 40km bici and 10 on foot. It will be the 4ª after Abu Dhabi (in Sprint distance), Auckland y Costa Dorada Australian (both Olympic distance). An appointment that brings great memories to Gómez Noya since in 2014 he achieved the victory, one of the 4 that earned him a new world title.

After the triathlon in Australia Javier traveled to Stellenbosch, just to 50 kilometers from Cape Town, where he was already concentrated in February and March of 2012. There he was able to continue with his training routine in order to achieve the best possible result on Sunday: "I'm in good shape. The goal is to continue adding points for the general, hopefully achieving victory".

The start list presents a great surprise, the absence of the leader of the circuit Jonathan Brownlee, for no apparent reason. In exchange, his elder brother, the Olympic champion, will compete for the first time at the 2015 circuit Alistair, who has stated to be motivated and in shape. Neither will the usual leader in the swimming phase, the Slovak Varga, which could motivate that there was not a small group starting the bike with advantage as it happened in Auckland and Australia.

As usual, the routes are several laps: 2 swimming, 9 cycling and 4 on foot. It is in the same urban area as in 2014 (next to the football stadium that hosted 2010 World Cup matches, for example there won Spain to Portugal in 1 / 8 final), but with differences in bike and on foot.
