Ocean Lava Galicia will premiere at 2017 in Cambados

The Canarian franchise, with a score of tests throughout Europe, will arrive in Galicia at the 10 in September.

Cambados and part of the Salnés region will be the scene of the first edition of the Ocean Lava Galicia that will have 2 distances, half ironman and distance 60.0.

The triathletes will start from the 8: 30 in the morning at the Pontevedra village of Cambados, with a swimming online between the ports of San Tomé and Tragove. The swimming will be the same for the two distances. Subsequently the cycling sector will be developed with a link section, on a demanding circuit, which will be 4 laps for the distance half (90 km) and 2 laps (47,4 km) for the distance 60.0. Of course the cycling sector will be without drafting.

Finally the foot race It will be a single round for the two distances, it is the section where part of the Padre Sarmiento Route will be traveled, with the peculiarity that continental territory will be abandoned in the distance half, to enter A Illa de Arousa and return again to Cambados.

Registrations

Registration can be made on the page www.oceanlavagalicia.com and until the July 10 will have a price of 120,00 € in the distance halfWhile 60.0 distance will maintain a fee of 50,0 €. In the distance half there are still a score of places at a reduced price of 95,0 €.

The organization will also give to all those registered before that date with the official jersey of the race. In the distance it has a limit of 500 participants and the distance 60.0 is much smaller with 150 squares that are gradually decreasing.

Kenneth Gasque, director of Ocean Lava and organizer during the 26 editions of the Ironman of Lanzarote, will be soon in Galicia to present the test and coordinate with the organization of the event all the devices so that the premiere in the peninsular northwest of the franchise is a success.

The Commonwealth of Salnés and the councils of Cambados, Vilanova de Arousa and A Illa de Arousa, together with various clubs and organizations in the region will put all the collaboration and the necessary means at their disposal, turning over the test to which they are already leaving joining sponsors little by little.
