Starting gun for the 2022 Valencia Triathlon World Cup

Last Tuesday the first meeting of the organizing committee of the Valencia Triathlon World Cup 2022, which will take place on September 3 and 4.

With this starts a new edition of MTRI Valencia, which, as usual, will host a test of the international calendar of the World Triathlon.

The organizing committee is made up of public and private entities, which are the driving force behind the organization of this great event.

At the meeting, which was held at the Valencia Municipal Sports Foundation, there were Pilar Bernabé and Borja Santamaria, Sports Department of the Valencia City Council; Josep Miquel Moya and José Ricardo Vila, from the General Directorate of Sports; Bárbara Prat, from the Marina de València; Daniel Olmos, from the Trinidad Alfonso Foundation; José Hidalgo and Jorge García, from the Spanish Triathlon Federation; and Vanessa Huesa, Arturo Navarro and José Luis Juan, from the Triatló Federation of the Valencian Community.

During the morning the composition of the members of the organizing and executive committees was approved, as well as the program of activities, which as a novelty in 2022 will include a greater space for the public, trusting that the pandemic will allow us such changes.

In addition, the General Directorate of Sports and the Sports Department of the Valencia City Council are confident of achieving the good numbers of participation, which this event reaped years ago.

MTRI València, the popular triathlon returns to the capital of Túria.

Mediterránea Triathlon returns with force in 2022, and proof of this is that on September 3 and 4 we will again enjoy two days of pure triathlon in Valencia.

 Throughout the weekend there will be competition in distance Supersprint, Sprint and Olympic.

In addition, in this edition again there will be modality in pairs, with which we will be able to do the entire triathlon accompanied by our couples, mothers, fathers, children, or an infinity of possible combinations.

This year the circuit will have venues, Alicante, Castellón and València
