Javier Gómez Noya receives the 2013 National Sports Award

Javier Gómez Noya - ITU World Champion in 2008, 2010, 2013 and 2014 - and Ironman World Champion 70.3 will collect the Don Felipe de Borbón Award

 

 

In the morning of yesterday the National Sports Awards corresponding to the year 2013 that, summoned by the Superior Council of Sports, where they are distinguished to the sportsmen, associations and other entities that have stood out by their impulse and promotion of the sport.

Javier Gómez Noya 4 times ITU World Champion and this year ironman world champion 70.3 will pick up the Don Felipe de Borbón Award Since the Spanish athlete who has distinguished himself the most during the year in his sporting performance, both nationally and internationally, has been chosen.

Furthermore, the female basketball team (Copa Barón de Güell), Mireia Belmonte, (Reina Sofia Award), Ona carbonell (Infanta de España SAR Doña Cristina) synchronized swimming swimmer and Atlético de Madrid coach, Diego Pablo Simeone (Ibero-American Community Trophy), are other winners of the 2013 National Sports Awards.
