The Higher Sports Council witnessed the presentation of the first edition of the Cycling tour of Lanzarote.
This competition, scheduled for the days September 28 and 29, 2024, It is not just another race on the calendar of the International Cycling Union (UCI); It is a celebration of sport, nature and culture of one of the most beautiful islands in the Canary archipelago.
A Dream Tour
The Vuelta Ciclista a Lanzarote will challenge participants with 180 kilometers divided into two stages.
- The first stage, with 115 kilometers and 1.700 meters of positive gradient, promises to be a real challenge for cyclists.
- The second stage, although shorter, with 75 kilometers and 1.000 meters of elevation gain, will be no less demanding.

Categories and Team Participation
The Vuelta Ciclista a Lanzarote is open to athletes from the Junior to Master 60 categories.
Additionally, participants can join together and compete as a team, with a minimum of four riders, whether male, female or mixed.
The team score will be calculated using each member's times in each race.
