Mario Mola leads the Triarmada in the Bermuda World Series

This weekend the international triathlon returns to the scene at the highest level with a new test of the Triathlon World Series.

The WTCS will return to Bermuda, where are the norwegian Kristian Blummenfelt y Gustav Iden.

To the penultimate of the circuit they arrive as customer-experience leaders Hayden Wilde y Georgia Taylor-Brown, but they will not participate as they are reserved for the Grand Final to be held at the end of the month in Abu Dhabi,

In the Bermuda test, which takes place in Olympic distance, there will be many triathletes who opt for the title, as is the case with Alex Yee who will be looking for his fourth victory in the Series this year, after those achieved in Cagliari, Montreal and Yohohama.

He is currently in fourth position with 3.000 points to Wilde's 850.

It will also be necessary to take into account Jelle Geens, the norwegians Blummenfelt e Iden, Vicent Luis or to Spanish Mario Mola that returns to the competition.

In the female test, the presence of Flora Duffy who will seek to go one step further in the search for his fourth world title.

With the absence of world leader Georgia Taylor-Brown and Cassandre Beaugrand, Duffy can reach the final with 3 wins and a bronze, just behind Taylor-Brown who will arrive with 3 wins and a silver to fight for the world title in Abu Dhabi.

At the start there will also be triathletes like Beth Potter, Taylor Spivey, Laura Lindemann,  Sophie Coldwell o  Taylor Knibb, recent winner of the IRONMAN 70.3 world championship.

Mario Mola leads the Triarmada composed of Antonio Serrat, Roberto Sánchez, Sergio Baxter, Miriam Casillas y Noelia Juan.

The WTCS Bermuda will be held on Sunday November 6 at the following times

  • Male test: 11:00 local time (16:00 Spanish time)
  • Female test: 14:00 local time (19:00 Spanish time)
