After the male test, where Emilio Martín has achieved the victory, it was the turn of the women's event to meet the new Spanish Duathlon Champion.
The Championship that has been played in Avilés has had the participation of 1.400 athletes throughout the weekend between all its modalities.
The format of the competition was a 5-kilometer running race, a 21-kilometer 2-lap cycling segment and a final 2,5-km race segment.

The fastest in the test has been Sara Guerrero with a time of 1: 03: 06 followed by Maria Varo (1: 03: 08) and for Marta Pintanel (1: 03: 32) in third position
Sara Guerrero achieved the title of Spanish elite Duathlon champion with a superb cycling segment and a great final race.
María Varo, with the Tri Infinity Móstoles, got the silver medal and the bronze was awarded to her by Marta Pintanel, from Diablillos Rivas Mar de Pulpí.
The first five positions were completed by Xisca Tous, by Isbilya Sloppy Joe`s, and Noelia Juan, from CEA Bétera.
For clubs, the victory was for Diablillos de Rivas Mar de Pulpí, ahead of Prat Triatló 1994 and Saltoki Trikideak.
