Sharon García and Guillermo Ferrer are imposed in the Sprint of Valencia Triathlon

The good weather returns to illuminate the first day of a competition for which today more 1.700 athletes have paraded.

 

 

The sun did not want to miss the great party of the popular triathlon and has returned to the city of Valencia to preside over the first day of Valencia Triathlon. More than 1.700 athletes have been protagonists of the Women's Triathlon, Supersprint, Sprint and Paratriathlon. A continuous parade of triathletes that, from early in the morning, have taken the Royal Navy Juan Carlos I and given life to a show that has been backed by thousands of people.

After a long night of work to make everything ready once the storm that hit the city yesterday, the day has developed normally, marked by the good atmosphere, both sporting and public.

First winners

Lucía Ramírez was the first to open the finish line as the winner of the Women's Triathlon at a time of 42: 52. José Antonio Arnau (34: 56) and Sara Alemany (40: 08) have done the same in the Supersprint, writing their name among the winners of Valencia 2015 Triathlon.

Finally, 1.000 triathletes have participated in a Sprint triathlon where Sharon García has won, in 1: 20: 24, who has risen to the podium for the third consecutive year. Second, Ana Almer (1: 16: 58) and third, María Gabriela Pintos (1: 18: 21). Guillermo Ferrer has climbed to the top of the men's podium in 1: 04: 28. Second, Thomas Sonnery (1: 05: 58) and third, Oliver Fernández (1: 06: 58).
