Everything ready for the Spanish Triathlon Championship

About 1.000 triathletes will participate in all the tests

El Spanish Sprint Triathlon Championship (categories cadet, junior, age group, under 23 and elite) will be held today, on a day in which there will be tests from early in the morning and with the participation of almost 1000 athletes.

 Of course, the main attraction will be the four-time world champion, the Galician Javier Gómez Noya, who paused in preparation to compete at home and in front of his audience.

The elite events are the last to be held. The girls will compete at 18:30 pm with Paula García Godino (current Spanish Sprint triathlon champion), Sara Bonilla, Francisca Tous o Anna Godoy as the main favorites, in a test that seems quite open.

Starting at 20:00 p.m., it is time for the elite men's competition, in which one name stands out above all: Javier Gómez Noya. On the starting pontoon there will be athletes such as Nan Oliveras (champion in 2014), David Castro, Emilio Aguayo o Antonio Serrat , who has been doing an exceptional season.
